Peach Crisp
The sweetness of summertime peaches combines with the comforts of cinnamon and brown sugar in this simple recipe that will be a favorite for years to come! I have been making this Peach Crisp for over 20 years! The recipe card is tattered and frayed from so much use!

Ingredients:
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup cold butter, cut up into small pieces
4 cups peeled and sliced fresh peaches
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8 inch square pan or casserole dish.
Combine flour, sugars, salt, cinnamon in a bowl.
Cut butter into flour and sugar mixture with a pastry blender until crumbly.
In a separate bowl, combine peached, lemon juice, and water. Toss gently to coat.
Spoon peaches into 8 inch dish.
Sprinkle flour and sugar mixture over peaches to cover.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream!
